Gail Kraft began as Executive Director of Love INC in April 2004. She served on the board for over 5 years before taking this position. Prior to Love INC, she managed the Community Resources Department for the Department of Human Services. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development with majors in Community Services and Public Administration.

Paula Scott Stewart joined Love INC in January 2012 as the Clearinghouse Coordinator. She is retired from the Michigan Department of Corrections and has also worked for a large non-profit in the Development Department. Paula is very active at Laketon Bethel Reformed Church where she has served as Elder, Deacon and a Commissioned Pastoral Assistant. She believes that we are all created with the purpose of giving back and helping those who are in need - to be the hands and feet of Jesus. There is no better feeling than to be able to extend Grace to someone who needs it or to show someone who is struggling that there is hope by ministering to them. By partnering with numerous churches, we can connect people to a church where they can grow in their faith – a place they can call home.

Chris Zeedyk I became a Christian at age 12. It wasn’t anything spectacular. I just made a decision to accept Christ as my personal Savior. I turned my life over to him and have tried to live according to His will ever since. I pray on a daily basis and sometimes even hourly. I believe that He is always present in my life and that I see the evidence in so many ways such as in the beauty of the earth, in the minister’s message that addresses a current struggle, or I get a phone call that is an answer to my prayers.

God has led me to Love In the Name of Christ via their New Directions Budgeting Classes. I became a mentor in the first year that it started. It was a perfect place for me to share my God given talents one on one with my clients. When I retired in Dec. 2008, I started volunteering here at Love, answering phones and helping clients. Getting to know the staff and other volunteers has richly blessed my life. God has put me in the right place at the right time. Now I’m working as the Administrative Assistant. Matt Kaley joined Love INC in August 2011. Matt worked for Muskegon County for over 30 years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience working with youth and families. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work from Ferris State University and attended St. Joseph Seminary in Oak Brook, Illinois where he received his High School Diploma.

Matt is an active member of St. James Catholic Church in Montague. His faith is very important and is the cornerstone of who he is. He feels strongly that we are all called to be of service to one another and carry out Christ’s work while we are here on this earth. He sees working at Love INC as a wonderful opportunity to be of service to others and use the gifts God gave him.

Matt is responsible for our New Directions Life Skills Ministry which includes classes in Manage Your Money, Powerful Parenting, Stress Management and any other classes that we are able to bring to help individuals and families become stronger. He can be reached at 231-773-3448, Extension 2303.
